Magazines

Many people told the Foil & Specialty Effects Association (an association that works within the graphic arts industry) that there was just not enough of a market to create a magazine fine targeted to foil stamping, embossing and other print embellishments. FSEA and Peterson Media Group proved the doubters wrong! The first issue in 1995 was a mere 20 pages with a total of 12 advertisers. Issues today are 70 to 80 pages with over 45 advertisers. Working closely with the association, we have grown PostPress magazine into the most widely read publication in the graphic finishing market. Peterson Publications works with associations to help them produce print and/or digital editions of their magazine. We will help analyze the market and determine the best overall approach.

Directories

Association directories do not have to be boring! And in many cases, there is no reason that you can’t sell advertising for your directory. Peterson Media Group will work closely with your association to analyze the potential for selling advertising for your directory and help create advertising rates that you and your supplier members will be comfortable with, creating a useful resource that can be used all year long.

 

In recent years, Peterson Media has moved more towards online directories, where we can help design a database and searchable directory that will be linked directly to your website. Ask us about both print and online directory services.

 

The Kansas Society of Association Executives had never published a membership directory with paid advertising until they spoke with Peterson Media Group. We took a 1- and 2-color directory that was costing the association several thousand dollars to produce and turned it into a wonderfully designed directory with a vivid 4-color cover that cost KSAE nothing! KSAE’s supplier members were happy to support the association and looked at the directory as an excellent investment for their advertising dollar. In 2017, KSAE added a quarterly magazine – KSAE Association and Meetings – that Peterson Publications assists with as well, creating a marketing and branding opportunity that had never existed before.

Show Guides & Programs

Successful events start with a successful printed guide or program. Although there has been a great deal that has gone online to promote industry trade shows and conferences, a printed show guide/directory for trade shows is still commonplace and essential for most events even today. Peterson Media Group can work with your event and analyze the potential advertisers and supporters of a show guide/directory and potentially make it another revenue source for your organization.

Enewsletters & Websites

With most of our association magazines, we produce and manage a complimentary website as well as a Enewsletter. It is important in today’s marketplace to create a mix of both print and digital products. With all our clients, we will discuss the possibilities and how to successfully create both a print and online presence for your publication.
